former vice president died in London hospital on Sunday, according to press release by the family the elder statesman died quietly at the hospital around 10:00pm on Sunday 19th November, 2017.
If you recall that the elder statesman fall and went into coma after the celebration of his 85th birthday and was taken to London on an air ambulance to London where he was receiving treatment before his death.
The family said his body will be flown back to Nigeria as soon as possible for burial arrangement.
